Wedding Shower Hosting Simple Guide

By Angela Crown

There is no other special occasion that can be compared to a bridal shower; this type of event has that special "touch" that only a "girls event" can have, which creates the perfect premises for the perfect night for both the bride-to-be and her guests.

Dealing with the whole event is a challenging issue if you consider the fact that you have to make everything fit together; that's why the first thing to do is to choose a theme for the party - since even the invitations should be accordingly. There are infinite ideas available, from a pajama party to a spa party or even a pizza one. Going for a "girls night out" may also be a good idea if your girls are fun and outgoing; but don't forget that some of them may want to go for a classic style party - and you want all the guests happy, don't you.

After choosing the theme, you should create the invitations accordingly and make sure they're sent out at least six weeks before the actual party night. Next you should choose and order the decorations (the moment you choose to order them is at your own free choice, but it's recommended that you have them prepared at least 2 weeks before the actual event).

Another very important aspect is the one concerning the food and cakes - which should also match the whole scenario. If the whole atmosphere allows you to, you could search some poems for being recited that evening.

Games shouldn't miss from any bridal shower, since they can definitely help overcome any cultural differences that may intervene. Another important benefit is that they can really cheer up any atmosphere, so they are a great party-saver in case things aren't going as planned; they can also fill empty times between conversations, so they're a must for any shower.

With all these being said and with a little effort on your side, there's noting to keep you from hosting the best wedding shower that everyone will remember for years. - 30520
